ACM’s New Female Artist of the Year, Ella Langley, has announced she’s stepping away from the spotlight for the remainder of August. In a message shared with fans on Monday, Langley revealed that she will be pausing her tour commitments, including opening performances for Riley Green and Morgan Wallen, to prioritize her mental and physical well-being.
“I’m so sad to be posting this. The past several weeks have been tough. I’ve been fighting sickness and feeling more run down than ever. After a lot of thought, I’ve made the hard decision to take a couple weeks off to rest and focus on my health – Mind, body and heart. I want to be fully present for all the moments ahead, and I know I can’t do that without first taking care of myself,”
Although Langley described the decision as a tough one, she emphasized the need for this break to focus on her personal healing. She also expressed deep gratitude for the fans’ support and understanding during this period.
“Sometimes we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down. I’m so grateful for your understanding and your love – It truly means the world to me,” Langley added before writing a Scripture verse from Matthew 11:28 that reads, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Langley has stepped away from the following dates:
August 15 & 16 – Cleveland, OH
August 19 – Nashville, TN (Listening Room)
August 21 – Bonner-West Riverside, MT
August 22 – Idaho Falls, ID
August 23 – Napa, ID
August 25 – Morrison, CO
Luckily, as of now, she won’t be away from the stage for too long and says she will return to the road in September.
Take all the time you need girl! We will be here for you.
