If there is ever one constant in media, it is the unpredictability. As we navigate the transition associated with the sale of our station tower frequencies, there have been some unexpected changes to the lineup. We understand that these changes can be surprising and may affect your listening experience, and we appreciate your patience and continued support during this transition.
6am – 10am – Scotty & Amber
3pm – 7pm – Rita Ballou
Thank you for your understanding and continued loyalty to KOKE.
Listen to KOKE at kokefm.com, through the KOKE app or tell your smart speaker to play KOKE-FM!
Unexpected is right! It didn’t sound like Bob and Eric expected this change on the Friday show – hard to believe since they had a small ownership in the station. Good luck to those guys!
So Bob & Eric are gone just like that.
Been listing to KOKE since you came back on the air.
after telling us not much would change I get in my truck this Morning and its Scotty and Amber not Bob & Eric
I listened for the morning show if I wanted music I would go elseware.
I guess I will have to.
Johnny
We did not anticipate the personnel changes. We thank you for your years of listening and wish you the best moving forward.
Why are you playing Mexican music for the last 3 days?
Please see the full statement here – – > https://kokefm.com/2024/05/30/koke-fm-digital-transition/
I understand that change is inevitable. To lose Bob Cole and Eric Raines is unfathomable. They are what made KOKE what it is today. Replacing them with Scotty Bennett and Amber is insane. Apparently KOKE has decided that they no longer need or want the older generation anymore. I will make sure I don’t wate my time on them either. This is an extremely disappointing and I wish Bob Cole and Eric Raines the best of luck in the future. Too bad you didn’t get rid of the snorting bubblehead.
We certanally don’t want you wasting your time. Thank you for your years of listening and best to you in the future.
Yesterday Scotty mentioned Jimmy Carter would still be on. What time does he come on ?
Jimmy Carter has chosen not to return to KOKE.
what happened to Sat oldies and Sunday christian music ?
Hi Betty,
The Country Gold and Sunday Gospel show are still airing.
You can hear them via the KOKE app or at kokefm.com.
Koke,
Well pretty sad reading messages, and more sad news on Monday morning (3rd June) Bob & Eric have resigned great, no farewell, no goodbye, nothing. Well, what’s next Jimmy resigns also. Started listen back when I moved back to Texas after my 25-year US Army service. Don’t know what’s next the app will not work for us here at work thanks for all the years and great memories.

Did Jimmy Carter resign also? I thought he was suspossed to be back on Wednesday.
He choose to leave KOKE.
Without Bob and Eric there’s no more reason to listen to KOKE. While I wish the station nothing but the best, this listener will now be a former listener.
98.5 and 99.3 both playing mexican music. I can still get it on alexa and phone app, are you getting a new number on the dial?
We do not anticipate returning to the dial.
Is “Jimmy Carter” still on the morning program?
Jimmy Carter has chosen not to return to KOKE.
There’s a big empty spot in my mornings! I’ve listened to Bob for 25 years. First, Sam and Bob, then Eric and Bob. Now, no Jimmy Carter. Very sad. I will be deleting my Koke app. Hoping for a Bob and Eric come back when they land on another radio station!
I’ve never enjoyed any type of talk morning radio, Bob & Eric were no different. They just talked and made no conversation that appealed to my ears. The “listeners” who say they’re moving on were not Koke listeners to begin with if they are not tuning in to the music just because 2 talk radio hosts are not with the business. That just my 2 cents on the subject of the change.
