At a recent Velvet Rodeo show Miranda stopped during her hit “Tin Man” to call out a group of women for not listening to the music and instead were taking photos.
“These girls worried about their selfie and not listening to the songs is pissing me off a little bit,”
The video quickly started circulated and everyone was putting in their two-cents. The internet seems to be pretty 50/50 split on who’s in the wrong. In a recent Taste of Country reader poll 56% of people were on Team Miranda.

A new video is now circulating Twitter & social media platforms from Mirandas Velvet Rodeo Las Vegas residency show on Saturday night. A supportive fan had a custom shirt made reading “Shoot Tequila, Not Selfies”, that caught Mirandas attention.
“Her shirt says ‘Shoot Tequila, Not Selfies’… She did it, I didn’t!”
Lambert then accepted a mini-bottle of tequila from the fan, taking a sip and sharing the rest of the shot with her guitar player.
