It is confirmed Rodney Terry has officially been named Head Coach of Texas Men’s Basketball. Terry will speak to the media Tuesday at 11am which will be carried live on The HORN.
After leading the Texas men’s basketball team to their first Elite 8 appearance since 2008, Rodney Terry can finally drop the interim title.
Terry coached his team to a 29-9 season and Big 12 Conference tournament. Terry’s record of 22-8 came as acting interim head coach following the termination of Chris Beard’s now-dropped felony domestic violence charge.
Terry is in his second year with the team and the program’s third coach since the 2015-16 season.
