2022-2023 Official CFB Bowl Games
The College Football Playoffs, NY6 Games and the remainder of the 2022-2023 Bowl Games were announced Sunday morning.
The CFB Playoff committee started off the day by announcing the four teams that were selected for the CFP Semifinals (Georgia, Michigan, TCU and Ohio State). Because Georgia is the no. 1 seeded team, they get to play at the closest geographic venue. This means that Georgia and Ohio State will meet in the Peach Bowl, while Michigan and TCU will square off in the Fiesta Bowl.
After the CFP teams were announced, the rest of the NY6 games were announced one by one. This includes Clemson vs. Tennessee in the Orange Bowl, Alabama vs. Kansas State in the Sugar Bowl, USC vs. Tulane in the Cotton Bowl and Penn State vs. Utah in the Rose Bowl.
Following the announcement of the NY6 games, the remainder of the 2022-2023 bowl games were revealed.
