Texan Kimberly Kelly made her Grand Ole Opry debut on Friday and got a little help from pal Steve Wariner, who played guitar during her song “Blue Jean Country Queen.”
The Lorena, Texas native is signed with Show Dog Nashville, a record label owned by Toby Keith.
Kelly’s new album “I’ll Tell You What’s Gonna Happen” has a great back story involving her longtime friend and mentor Billy Joe Shaver.
KOKE FM’s Lindsay Liepman sat down with Kelly backstage after her Opry debut to get her reaction to stepping into the circle and the stories behind her new album.
