People can do the cruelest things.
In a story from the New York Times a Chihuahua puppy was found in Thousand Palms, in Southern California, with an arrow shot through it’s neck, with both ends sticking out an end.
The Riverside County Animal Service said a woman called 911 when she found the 4-month-old dog after she heard it “screaming”. A Sheriff’s Deputy picked up the pup and took her to Coachella Valley Animal Campus.
The arrow didn’t hit the puppy’s vital arteries and was able to be removed successfully. The puppy is still getting treatment and they are looking for her to have a safe home.
Always nice when a human doing something so terrible doesn’t end in the worst possible way.
