The former Astro and Ranger is one of the greatest sports stories to ever be told and now we are getting that story on the big screen.
The old guy who could still throw a 100 MPH fastball and beat up a dude half his age. Even though he was a little before my time playing-wise, I know of his legacy. For anyone younger who only knows him as the AC spokesperson or whatever voice on a commercial, they can be educated on the amazing career he had.
I’ll learn a lot, he sounds a whole lot more intimidating than I knew he was.
It’s available in theaters on a limited release on May 24th, there is not a list of theaters that I could find, but a healthy amount of close theaters are showing it on the Tuesday.
