Well, we knew Aaron Watson lost his voice, but it seems pretty serious.
He tells us that after feeling a little horse he tried his normal remedy, but his voice “seized up” during a show “I couldn’t sing loud or hit any high notes. I could kinda get through my verses. The boys in the band sang the choruses. The crowd was very understanding and they were singing along with me, and I was kinda whispering my way through choruses. It was painful.”
He went to the doctor where he was told to rest and something that Watson joked will be the hardest; “that I can’t yell at my kids, so y’all keep me in your prayers. Love you guys.”
Of course, Aaron will be playing KOKEFEST on August 5th so we are looking forward to a speedy recovery for a healthy and awesome show from the Honky Tonk Kid!
