John Daly is definitely one of the most interesting men to play on the PGA Tour.
The guy can bomb drives like no other and often times he’d do it while smoking and drinking on the course. The redneck pro also fancies himself as a bit of a singer. In fact, he just released his second album ‘Whiskey & Water’ and even has Willie Nelson featured on the title track.
Hey good for John for getting Willie to sing along with him.
Last month Daly told PGATour.com that the song would be played on the radio… I mean it could be, but I don’t know if he has a hit on his hands.
The song was written by Brinley Addington, Tyler Reeve, and Luke Combs’ guitar player Rob Williford, but since it fits him so well I would have thought it was written by Daly himself.
Of course, it’s probably not a coincidence he released it Masters week. He knows what he was doing, I don’t think it matches but maybe it’ll get some play during the coverage.
