What Else Can She Do will be Kaitlin’s second album ever. Since Same Hell, Different Devil came out all the way back in 2015. Last year we got a couple of singles ‘How Lucky Am I’ and ‘Marfa Lights’ which will not featured on her upcoming project. But we can finally preview the album with her brand new single ‘Blood’
Written by Butts and the brilliant Angaleena Presley, ‘Blood’ tells the tale of the grip family can have on those going through tough times.
We came to the conclusion that when it comes to family, it’s “normal” to accept behavior that we wouldn’t from friends. And when a friend displays toxic, abusive behavior, we can decide to cut ties and we may never see them again, but with family, it’s much easier said than done.

How about that subject for a country song?! And while it may have a somber tone, Kaitlin admits that it helped her deal with some of the trauma she has gone through.
There’s more beauty in the bonds family create. Even when it gets ugly instead of just packing the bags and giving up on each other we can prevail and grow. That “counterfeit” love can turn into true love with growth and forgiveness.
