Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was just featured on a Tech N9ne rap track that has got millions of streams in a week and now wants to expand his music career to another favorite genre of his; country music.
That’s right I didn’t know that The Rock, by the way I can smell what he is cooking, is a fan of the greatest genre of music, not only that but he has some pretty cool friends. Here’s what he said in a recent interview with Billboard
“My love for hip-hop goes back from day one, and I love traditional and outlaw country music.
I think there’s something down the road where I may collaborate with some artists in that genre as well. Some of those guys are my friends– like, for example, Jamey Johnson, Mickey Lamantia, Gethen Jenkins.
There’s a real authenticity there, and, you know, maybe I could pick up my guitar.”
I mean he’s plucked some guitar on stage before. Maybe he’ll go on tour with his bud Jamey Johnson, the “Johnson brothers from different mothers”
