Joe Nichols is one of my favorite artists. So yes him just teasing a single is enough of a reason for me to write an article about it.
Joe may not be a household name, but I believe he is one of a handful of singers in the last 20 years with a collection of songs that will stand the test of time. Brokenheartsville, Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off, Gimmie That Girl will live on in honky-tonks and dancehalls for years to come.
The 44-year-old singer took to Instagram to tease his next singe Home Run which will be release on April 23rd.

There aren’t any vocals in the tease, but I can bet it’ll be good.
This will be the first original music release since his criminally underrated 2017 album Never Gets Old.
Joe has released a handful of studio covers from greats like Don Williams and Ronnie Milsap that last few years. Last year he jumped on the at-home concert deal early on with the fantastic Monday Merle videos where he did a Merle cover every week. If you want to hear a great Merle cover check out this gem from his 2013 album Crickets. Oh, yeah it’s Eric Raines’s favorite Footlights.
