At 33-years-old Cody Johnson could be named the New Male Artist of the Year after his recent nomination for the prestige award, but maybe even more exciting than that is the fact that we’ll get a documentary about the former bull rider.
Johnson has been teasing the doc with some trailers and the latest includes some footage of him performing in his high school FFA talent show. It’s where his now wife saw him perform first when she was just 14.
The film will be titled ‘Dear Rodeo’ which of course is also the name of his latest single that he released a duet version with Reba McEntire late last year.
So looking forward to a release date, and oh yeah Cody is going to release an 18-track album sometime this year too.
