Morgan Wallen made his Saturday Night Live debut on December 5th after being given the boot back in October after he was caught partying right before the show.
The folks at SNL let him back on most likely because that little incident didn’t hurt his popularity and has been mostly forgotten. That didn’t stop the ‘Whiskey Glasses’ singer from making light of the situation.
In a sketch before he performed, Morgan was at a party where he was met by his future self (played by host Jason Bateman) to warn him of his actions.
It was definitely one of the better sketches of the night. Not a lot of laugh out moments in my opinion, but nothing beats the great monologue, Jason Bateman gave.
Jason’s deadpan delivery is brilliant.
Morgan Wallen did perform ‘Still Going Down’.
