Divorce can be messy, petty, and gross. It can also be pretty expensive.
American sweetheart Kelly Clarkson filed for divorce from her husband of seven years Brandon Blackstock earlier in the year. On November 19th Kelly won temporary primary physical custody of the couple’s two children, daughter River Rose, 6, and son Remington Alexander, 4 E News reports. And now Brandon is asking for some serious cash in spousal and child support.
Brandon is seeking $436,000 PER MONTH in spousal and child support. PLUS, $2 MILLION in attorney’s fees. Yikes.
Of course that has not been granted yet, but I guess it could when you have Kelly cash.
Brandon is Kelly’s good pal Reba McEntire’s former step son. I thought it was her actual son, but no he is the son of her ex-husband Narvel Blackstock. If I had to guess the dude has plenty of money and is asking for waaaay too much just to be annoying.
But kids there’s a lesson here: Always, always sign a prenup.
