Lee Brice will not be playing at the CMA Awards Wednesday evening after he tested positive for COVID-19.
Brice was set to perform his number one hit ‘ I Hope You’re Happy Now’ with Carly Pearce. No word on if Carly is getting the boot too, but that song was co-written by Luke Combs so maybe, just maybe he’ll jump in and save the day.
A representative for Brice told The Associated Press on Sunday that he is “in good spirits and not experiencing any symptoms.”
