Some voices can just put you at ease. Willie Nelson, Nat King Cole, Norah Jones, so soothing their like an ear lozenge. Vince Gill and Alison Krauss are in that category too and when they collaborate it’s pure magic.
Grammy Award-winning Nashville-based pianist and producer Matt Rollings is putting together an album and is calling in some big names to help him out. Just released single ‘Stay’ has Kraus providing the lead vocals and Gill adding harmony.
Rollings co-wrote “Stay” with Drew McKeon and “The Voice” alum Alisan Porter, who originally released the song in 2016. According to Tennession.com, Rollings could only imagine one other singer giving the song justice. She just so happens to have the same name with a different spelling.
Now, this isn’t the first time Alison Krauss and Vince Gill have sung together. Check out this classic performance of ‘Whenever You Come Around’. Vince with that bluesy guitar, A1 stuff.
