Former University of Texas linebacker Emmanuel Acho debuted his brillent new YouTube show ‘Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man’ last week and he’s got a big name as his first guest in episode two.
The mister of culture himself, Matthew McConaughey, joined the conversation in the twelve minute interview where they touched on many issues we are facing as a nation.
Emmanuel spent some time in and out of the NFL after his time at Texas and has held numerous media positions with EPSN and other outlets since 2016.
The 29-year-old put a lot of thought into releasing this series. He told USA TODAY Sports “Some of my black friends, they’re so hurt that they don’t even feel like having these conversations no more. I realized somebody needs to be a bridge. … Somebody needs to stand in that gap and play mediator.” Just in case you missed the first episode, check it out below.
