Hey all you cool cats and kittens!
Rita here after day 3398439024320 of being locked down in the Ballou Bunker in Hutto, Texas, USA.
I wish I could tell y’all that I have used these past 6 weeks for something constructive like taking up a new exercise routine, organizing and spring cleaning my closets or focusing on something positive that could be a contribution to society … but I’m not going to lie.
I’ve been eating and eating and when I get done eating, I’ve been eating some more. I have watched and rewatched every thing on Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime. I have yelled at my husband for sniffing too loudly, folding the towels incorrectly and everything in between.
Let’s just say, ole Rita has NOT been living her best life … until the magic of SIDEWALK CHALK showed up!
My husband finally found the last box of sidewalk chalk available in Central Texas and thank goodness he did. I have discovered the ultimate zen … coloring on my back patio! I call it the Ballou Boredom Buster.
