Luke Combs was practicing his social distancing by giving his fans a 30-minute acoustic concert live from his garage on Tuesday night, March 17th. He performed four songs including a brand new track, “What Do You Do When It’s Raining.”
Explaining that the tune was inspired by his soon-to-be-wifey Nicole, Combs shared that it was written with James McNair and Reid Isbell while on a writing retreat in Florida.
“We were sitting around down there a couple months ago at the beach and it was raining outside and it never rains at the beach,” explaining the inspiration behind the song. “Nicole was like, ‘man what do you do when it’s raining,’ so I just kind of took that line and ran with it and this is what we came up with.”
The new song begins at about 5:41 in the live stream above.
