“It’s an off day, so I figured I’d lay around and play a new song on an old guitar. Here’s a new one for ya #downhell.”
Randall King decided to share a new song with fans via Facebook with a sentimental instrument, a guitar he’s had since he was 10 years old.
“This here is one of the first guitars I ever learned to play on. My dad bought it for me when I was really young. It’s the second guitar I ever owned.”
The guitar features autographs from King’s heroes such as Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, and Ricky Skaggs. He then proceeds to sing “Downhell” a slow song reminiscent of the 90s ballad.
So far King has released singles, “Hey Cowgirl”, “She Gone” and “Burn It At Both Ends”. There has been no official release date for an album.
