John Prine Postpones Tour Dates Due To Surgery

Iconic singer-songwriter John Prine has had to postpone his upcoming summer tour dates to have heart stent surgery.

Apologies for the cancellations were given in a post on Prine’s Instagram account, noting that Prine has been told by doctors “that he has an elevated risk for a stroke.”

He’s having surgery this week, and some dates have already been rescheduled for later this year.

Alternatively, refunds are available at original point of purchase. In consultation with his doctors, John has been advised that he has an elevated risk for a stroke.
