
Austin Smiles is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization helping reduce the backlog of patients awaiting life-changing cleft lip/palate surgeries around the world. With thirty-one years of history in Central Texas and internationally, Austin Smiles has a strong commitment to ensuring children receive adequate surgical care, to live a healthy and fulfilling life.
One in seven hundred children are born with cleft lip/palate deformities. For every 638 children born with a cleft, approximately 23 will die at a median age of 5 months.
This trip will start on June 9th thru June 16th and will be headed to Vera Cruz, Mexico. They are seeking qualified volunteers:

Recovery Room Nurses
Pediatric Nurses
Operating Room Nurses
Nurse Anesthetists
Licenses must be current and you must have a current passport.
