BBQ BOYS BUYERS GROUP is a Texan non-profit 501(c)3 organization established in 2014. They are organized and coordinated by a group of six friends and family members, dedicated to the 4-H and FFA members of Texas. Having been involved in and around youth livestock shows and sales for most of their lives they wanted to create an opportunity to give money back to these great programs. With their own experiences, they feel they can really help the stockshow community.
In almost 4 years and only 3 events so far they have raised over $80,000. They have been able to take that money to multiple livestock sales around our Great State of Texas that include, Rodeo Austin, Travis County Sale and Williamson County Sale. They are proud to be able to say that in our short time of being an organization they have been able to contribute to almost 500 Kids that are apart of Texas’s 4-H & FFA organization.
The annual fundraising event that they put on each year is a Lone Star Barbecue sanctioned competition BBQ Cookoff with up to 6 different categories each cooking team can compete in. During the two day event we have multiple fundraising Games, a Raffle and a Silent and Live Auction.
