U.S. Air Force veteran Michael Malone inherited his childhood home from his mother after she died — but the house was run down and in desperate need of repairs. Unfortunately, he didn’t have a way to pay for them and wound up living in a facility for homeless veterans.
Well, more than 60 volunteers with the Home Depot Foundation and the Hoosier Veterans Assistance Foundation have been fixing up his home so that Malone ‘can move back in and get going again.”
Malone said he feels blessed and is grateful for the overwhelming support from the community.
