On this date (Feb. 26th) in 2004, Pat Green’s Wave On Wave album was certified Gold.
Released in 2003 on Universal/Republic Records in association with Mercury Records, Wave on Wave was Pat’s fifth studio album. The title track, co-written with David Neuhauser and Justin Pollard, reached #3 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. The song was featured during campaign rallies for then U.S. President George W. Bush during his 2004 reelection campaign and was also nominated for a Grammy Award in 2004 for Best Country Song.
