Hendrick Motorsports announced in a tweet on Tuesday morning (April 25th) that driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. will retire from the NASCAR Cup Series at the end of the 2017 season.
Earnhardt and team owner Rick Hendrick will address the media today at 2 p.m. Central and video from the news conference will be streamed live on NASCAR.com.
After 18 seasons, @DaleJr will bring his Cup Series driving career to a close at the end of 2017.
