KOKEFEST 2018 to be Held at
Hutto Park at Brushy Creek
Country music festival KOKEFEST is returning to the City of Hutto on August 10 and 11. This two-day music festival will be held at the new Hutto Park at Brushy Creek located at 1001 CR 137. KOKEFEST draws fans from all over the state and across the country.
KOKEFEST 2018 will be held in the south central part of the new park in view of the cliffs. The park setting will provide shaded areas for festival-goers as they enjoy music from Aaron Watson, Mark Chesnutt, and Mike Ryan on Friday, August 10. Saturday, August 11 features Chris Colston, Ruston Kelly, Koe Wetzel, Whiskey Myers, Wade Bowen, and the Josh Abbott Band.
On-site parking is available with pre-paid parking passes going on sale July 16. Off-site shuttle parking options will also be available.
KOKEFEST is looking for local volunteers from the Hutto & surrounding Central Texas area. If interested please visit KOKEFEST.com. Each volunteer will receive two free two-day admission passes, food, beverages, a volunteer t-shirt, and free parking.
Construction is underway at the amphitheater which is located at the northeast corner of the 65-acre park property. The amphitheater will be the site for KOKEFEST in 2019. Construction on the amphitheater began in late April. Hutto Park at Brushy Creek is part of the Magnificent 7, a group of projects prioritized by the City Council to strengthen Hutto’s economic development and quality of life.
