Texas Football Food Drive to Benefit Central Texas Community

Texas Football is teaming up with Whataburger for a canned food drive ahead of Saturday’s game against Kansas at Darrell K Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium. Fans who bring two or more canned food items may purchase $20 general admission tickets (limit 4 tickets per person) while seats remain for the 5:00 p.m. showdown vs the Jayhawks. Supporters will also receive a coupon for a free Whataburger for every two canned food items, while supplies last.

Cans may be dropped off and tickets may be purchased from Wednesday, November 8 – Friday, November 10 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Sandeep Soni Athletics Ticket Office located in the lobby of Bellmont Hall or on game day (November 11) at Gate 3 of Mike A. Myers Stadium from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Coupons for a free Whataburger will also be provided in the same locations for fans who get involved in the food drive, while supplies last.

Contributions will benefit Central Texas communities. Supporters can redeem a limited supply of $20 game tickets by cash only purchase at the time of drop off Wednesday – Friday, or at the Gate 3 box office at Myers Stadium on game day.
