Week #4 was tough but great! I am now actually starting to see a difference in my body. My stomach is tightening up (thank you sweet baby Jesus!) and my legs are getting super toned!
The weight lifting part of my work outs, we have been doing “Partial Range RDL” since week one. I started out using just the bar (45 lbs.) and I am already up to I think 85 lbs.!
This week my circuit work out change and it was KILLER. My mother would have washed my mouth out with soap…I was cursing my way through it Sorry Mom. The circuit was 8 rounds of 40 seconds of work and 20 seconds of rest in between for each exercise and there was 5 exercises! My biggest struggle is still with my arms. I can feel them getting stronger but they burn out very quickly doing push-ups. I have to remind myself that I am up to doing about 160 per workout and I started out only being able to do 25…. and yes these are kneeling push-ups. Judge me if you want. John Wolfe and Chris at Onnit have been so hands on with making sure that we are injury free. I struggle with lower back pain and so that is the reason why I am doing kneeling push-ups. I don’t have lower back pain and that is the most important part. I’m building up strength and not hurting myself in the mean time! That is something that has been so impressive to me about Onnit. They have truly listened to me and my goals, strengths and weaknesses and have guided me according to that information. On to week 5! #GetOnnit
