Texas country singer-songwriter Kevin Fowler was inducted into the Tascosa High School Hall of Fame in Amarillo, Texas on February 7, 2017. The Tascosa High School Hall of Fame was the senior project for the class of 1981. The purpose of the Hall of Fame was to recognize former Tascosa Graduates and those who have served Tascosa High School.
An assembly is held each spring in which the nominees are awarded plaques for their induction into the Hall of Fame and the nominees have their pictures placed with a short biography in the Hall of Fame area in the school commons.
Nominations are taken through October each year for consideration to be selected to the Hall of Fame.
“What an awesome honor. My high school inducted me into their Hall of Fame today. I guess they ran out of good candidates!” says Fowler.
Since 2000, Fowler has released eight studio albums including his latest, “Coming to a Honky Tonk Near You” which was produced by Trent Willmon and released in October from his own Kevin Fowler Records. The album features his latest singles “Sellout Song” and “Texas Forever”.
